I am a 47 year old divorced mom of 4 who was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. At 17, I gave birth to my first son in one of the most dangerous communities to an abusive boyfriend. By 27, I had been married twice and had 4 kids! Life was definitely a challenge but through it all I knew that my purpose in life was to change lives.
Fast forward until know, I have enjoyed 21 years as an educator. Starting as a Science teacher, moving into instructional coaching, and ending after being a middle school Principal.
What I have learned in life is that we have to learn how to play the hand that we've been dealt by any means necessary to meet our mental, emotional, and physical needs. Don't settle for No when YOU KNOW YOU DESERVE BETTER!
